Coverack

Coverack is pretty little fishing village tucked away in a sheltered bay on the eastern side of the Lizard peninsula. The village has everything you could need for an amazing holiday: a huge beach; a working fishing harbour; shops; cafés; restaurants; and a fantastic pub with a free pool table! There’s also a windsurfing school where you can rent kayaks and stand up paddle boards.

There aren’t many better things to do in life than enjoy a pint of local beer while sat on the harbour wall, watching the world go by.

In truth, you need never leave Coverack. If however you do feel the need to explore beyond the village, there are so many things to do and see within an hour’s drive: fantastic beaches at Kennack Sands and Kynance Cove; beautiful gardens at Trebah and Glendurgan; the amazing Minack Theatre; the galleries at St Ives; the Flambards amusement park in Helston.

We fell in love with Coverack the moment we arrived for our first visit. The weight of the world seems to be lifted from your shoulders as you weave your way down the hill into the village. We hope you decide to visit Coverack and experience for yourself what makes it such a special place.
